1st LTTA of the Erasmus+ Digital Teachers project

Between June 19th and 23rd, five teachers from Agrupamento de Escolas Terras do Ave travelled to Tartu, Estonia, to participate in the 1st LTTA (Learning Teaching Training Activities) of the “Digital Teachers” project. The aim of this LTTA was to share and discuss ideas and opinions on the use of Web 3.0 tools and their effects on education. Participants had the opportunity to learn more about these new tools and how they can be used to prepare presentations, videos and games in the educational context.

Throughout the week, several workshops dedicated to this topic were held, highlighting Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence and the use of drones and Sphero RVR in the school context. At the end of the activities, a specific workshop was held for the creation of educational materials using Web 3.0 and robotic tools, where participants had the opportunity to put into practice the knowledge acquired throughout the week.

During this mobility, participants had the opportunity to visit the city of Tartu and the Estonian capital, Tallinn, accompanied by the director of the host school, Toomas Liivamägi, who kindly shared his knowledge about the history and urban development of these cities. They also had the opportunity to visit the Delta Centre of the University of Tartu, one of the most advanced centres of digital technology, analytical and economic thinking in the Nordic region, as well as the Estonian National Museum, which portrays the history, life and traditions of the Estonian people in a building of magnificent architecture.

All participants considered this mobility a great success, expressing enormous gratitude for the effort, dedication, availability and kindness of everyone involved in the organization.
