LTTA 5- North Macedonia

The fifth Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity (LTTA 5) of the Digital Teachers – Classrooms Without Borders Created with Digital Technologies project will take place from June 23-29, 2024, in Štip and Skopje, North Macedonia, hosted by Goce Delčev University (GDU). This LTTA focuses on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education and the development of AI-based e-learning platforms, equipping participants with skills to create interactive and adaptive digital learning environments.

Throughout the training, participants will explore AI-driven teaching strategies, focusing on ethical considerations, personalized learning modules, and accessibility for students with disabilities. Workshops will introduce AI-based educational tools, emphasizing how AI can be leveraged to enhance digital learning, support differentiated instruction, and create inclusive classroom experiences. Experts will guide teachers in content development, instructional design, and media integration, ensuring practical implementation.

A key component of this LTTA is E-learning platform development, where educators will learn how to design, implement, and optimize digital learning modules tailored to individual student needs. Visits to historical and cultural sites in Ohrid and Skopje will provide additional perspective on inclusive education, digital equity, and the broader impact of AI on learning and society.

By integrating insights from previous LTTAs, this event is enhanced by:

  • Bridging AI with STEAM education, demonstrating AI's role in adaptive learning, data-driven instruction, and intelligent tutoring systems.
  • Focusing on ethical AI usage, addressing privacy concerns, algorithm bias, and responsible technology integration.
  • Expanding accessibility in digital learning, ensuring students with learning disabilities can benefit from AI-driven tools and personalized education strategies.
  • Encouraging collaboration among educators and e-learning experts, fostering a sustainable network for digital education innovation.

This LTTA will empower teachers with the tools, strategies, and digital competencies needed to implement AI-enhanced education, paving the way for future-ready, borderless classrooms.
